Aimee, Clinical Director and Co-Owner, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, with a Masters in Somatic Psychology. As Clinical Director, she oversees the psychological aspects of neurofeedback training, and supports the clients in meeting their goals. With individual therapy sessions, she helps clients experientially integrate neurofeedback shifts into their lives.
In her private sessions, Aimee can support you in a process of living your life with greater vitality and deeper connection with yourself and others. She provides a safe and supportive space for you to explore your inner landscape and tap into your own wisdom. Using present moment experience, she invites curiosity about how you relate with yourself and others.
Aimee works with individuals and couples in a variety of areas including trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, chronic health conditions, sexuality, gender, personal growth, relationship issues, and life transitions. She welcomes all forms of diversity. Her presence is personable, responsive, and playful. She encourages authentic expression, awareness, and embodiment. While holistic in her approach, her primary therapeutic modes are relational and somatic (mind and body unified). Aimee’s work is also informed by attachment theory.
Aimee received her Master’s from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She has extensive training in Hakomi, a mindfulness-based therapy, as well as additional training in working with trauma. She trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a relationship therapy designed to help build awareness and increase in intimacy in couples. She is trained in the use of psychotherapeutic touch. Her work is also informed by her background in massage, dance, and yoga.
